Selected from Omaha on Sept. 1 and made his Major League debut on Sept. 2 at Minnesota, allowing six runs on four hits and three walks in 0.2 inning ... Made his final appearance of the season on Sept. 5 at Detroit, allowing three runs on six hits in 3.0 innings of relief ... Spent most of the season in the minors, going 8-9 with a 4.54 ERA (56 ER in 111.0 IP) in 29 appearances (16 starts) between Wilmington (A+), Northwest Arkansas (AA) and Omaha (AAA) ... Pitched in Wilmington through mid-July-his first experience above rookie ball-going 6-7 with two saves and a 5.03 ERA (41 ER in 73.1 IP) in 21 appearances (nine starts) ...
