Appeared in 17 games over four stints with the Rays after his selection from Triple-A Durham on May 9...was up with the Rays from May 9-17, June 1-6, June 9-July 11 and Sep 8-season's end...also spent time on the disabled list (June 10-July 8) with right shoulder tendinitis. Made his major league debut vs. Texas the night he was selected, with 3.1 scoreless innings...became the 10th Ray to win his major league debut, and third to do so as a reliever (first since Doug Waechter on Aug 23, 2003 at SEA)...was the first Ray to get the win in a relief app of 3 IP or more in his major league debut...became the first pitcher to win his debut in a relief app of 3.1 IP or longer since HOU Paul Clemens on April 9, 2013 at SEA. Thirteen of his 17 apps were scoreless, including 6 straight from Sep 19-27...carried a 1.19 ERA (22.2-IP, 3-ER) into his final appearance, before allowing 3 ER on Oct 2 vs. TOR.
