Split season between Blue Jays and Cardinals organizations...appeared in 15 Major League games with St. Louis, going 1-0 with a 6.59 ERA (20 ER, 27.1 IP) with 10 walks and 20 strikeouts...released by Toronto on July 16 and signed with St. Louis on July 19.

2022

Selected to the Major League roster on May 4...Made his season debut on May 5 at CLE, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings of relief (H, BB)...Was his first MLB appearance since Sept. 26, 2018... In Game 1 of a doubleheader on July 2 vs. TB, threw 5.2 innings out of the bullpen, the longest relief outing of his career (7H, 6ER, 2HR, BB, 6K)...His six K’s were the second most in a game in his career (nine on April 22, 2017 at LAA)... In 23 starts for Triple-A Buffalo, went 9-5 with a 2.79 ERA (39 ER/126.0 IP) and a 0.89 WHIP... Was named the International League Pitcher of the Week for May 30-June 5, pitching a complete game, one-hit shutout against Rochester on June 4 (7.0 IP, 1H, 5K).

Signed with the York Revolution of the independent Atlantic League to start the year and had his contract selected by the Blue Jays on May 19... Split the rest of the campaign between Double-A New Hampshire and Triple-A Buffalo...Combined to go 8-3 with a 4.40 ERA (42 ER/86.0 IP), 17 walks, 80 strikeouts, and a 1.12 WHIP... His 13 walks over 65.0 innings with the Bisons were the fewest among Buffalo hurlers with at least 10 starts.

Was 2-3 with 6.34 ERA (39 ER, 55.1 IP) with 52 strikeouts in 27 appearances, including 2 starts, with Toronto (4 G) and Seattle (23 G)…had four stints with Seattle (May 17-June 2, June 12-13, July 28-Aug. 15 & Aug. 19-end)…first Major League win on Aug. 1 at Texas… struck out 9 over 5.0 innings in relief on June 1 vs. Colorado, setting single-game club record for strikeouts by a reliever…was 2-4 with 4.08 ERA (26 ER, 57.1 IP) with 41 strikeouts in 11 appearances, including 7 starts with AAA Tacoma…claimed off waivers from Toronto on May 11 after being designated for assignment on May 8…was 0-3 with 8.78 ERA (13 ER, 13.1 IP) with 7 strikeouts in 4 games (2 starts) with Toronto…selected by Toronto from AAA Buffalo on April 8 and made his MLB debut in relief later that day at Tampa Bay…was 1-0 with 0.90 ERA (1 ER, 10.0 IP) with 7 strikeouts in 3 starts with AAA Buffalo before recall.
