Anthony Clay Dungan resides in Alexandria, Ind...Graduated from Yorktown High School (Ind.) in 2015… lettered four years in baseball and two years in football...Attended Indiana State University, where he hit .305 with 10 doubles, three triples and nine homers in 61 games as a senior (2019)…led the Sycamores to their first NCAA Tournament win since 1995.

2021

Spent the entire season with Double-A Northwest Arkansas and played in 108 games, slashing .288/.357/.405 (128-for-444) with 30 extra-base hits, 56 RBI and 28 stolen bases...Stole three bases in a pair of games for the Naturals, on May 19 at Springfield and Aug. 8 at Arkansas...Fell a double shy of a cycle on June 18 at San Antonio, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and a single, driving in two...Was invited to Major League Spring Training.

2020

Participated in the club’s postseason camp at Kauffman Stadium.

2019

Spent his first professional season with Idaho Falls (Rookie)…started 43 games at shortstop and 19 games at second base...Named a Pioneer League midseason and postseason All-Star, as well as an MiLB.com Organization All-Star… led off and played second base in the annual Pioneer League-Northwest League All-Star Game...Led the Pioneer League in hits (91) and ranked second in average (.357) and doubles (19), fourth in on-base percentage (.427) and total bases (126) and tied for fifth in triples (5)...Slashed .429/.528/.607 (24-for-56) with three doubles, two triples and a homer vs. left-handed pitching…also batted .420 (29-for-69) with runners in scoring position...Went 6-for-6 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in his fifth professional game, vs. Billings on June 23...Had a 14-game hitting streak from July 20-Aug. 3, in which he batted .431 (25-for-58) with three doubles, a triple and 13 runs scored…also ended the regular season on a 13-game hitting streak (Aug. 22-Sept. 6)...Hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in the seventh inning in a decisive Game 3 of the Pioneer League semifinals vs. Billings.
