Was a non-roster invitee to ML spring training...Had his contract selected on 8/11 from Lehigh Valley and made his ML debut on 8/13 vs BAL...Earned his first ML win on 9/18 vs TOR (gm 2)...Tossed 8.2 scoreless innings with one hit allowed and 14 strikeouts in his final six appearances...His 8.2-inning scoreless streak (9/13-end of season) was the longest by a Phillies reliever during the season...Struck out each of his final six batters, becoming the only Phillies reliever ever to strike out all three batters faced in consecutive appearances and the only reliever in MLB to do so during the year...Opponents were just 5-for-39 (.128 AVG) against him and had one hit in their final 27 at-bats (.037 AVG) l Had four stints with PHI: 8/11-22, 9/7-9, 9/13, 9/16-end of season.

Named Phillies Minor League Co-Pitcher of the Month for July (8 G, 2-1, 2 SV, 0.00 ERA, 12.0 IP, 16 SO)...Selected as Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the Week, 8/6-12...Spent entire season with Lakewood (A)...Posted a 61.0-inning homerless streak from 4/16 through the 8th inning on 8/17...Did not allow an earned run for 22.0 consecutive innings from 6/25 to the 8th inning on 8/17...Went 4-1 with a 1.42 ERA (6 ER, 38.0 IP), 51 SO, .194 OPP AVG and converted all five of his save opportunities in 24 games as a reliever.
