Played for the University of Florida, where he helped the Gators win the 2017 College World Series...Was named to the All-SEC Defensive Team in 2016 and 2017...Graduated from Venice High School (Fla.)...His father, Mark, pitched in 765 MLB games over a 15-year career (1989-2003), including winning the 1991 World Series with MIN and appearing in 46 games for the Red Sox in 1999.

2022

Spent most of the season with Lehigh Valley (AAA); appeared at CF (59 games), RF (25), LF (one), SS (two), second base (two) and third base (one)... Started the month of September hitting .643 (9-14) with three XBH, four RBI and five runs scored in three games for Lehigh Valley... Had his contract selected by the Phillies on 9/4... Made his ML debut on 9/6 vs MIA (started in RF)... Collected his first career hit (single against Patrick Corbin) and RBI in the third inning on 9/9 vs WSH... Slugged his first career HR on 9/20 vs TOR (Ross Stripling)... Defensively for the Phillies, appeared in RF (12 games/five starts), at third base (one game/one start) and at second base (one game)... Reached base safely in 14 of his 25 PA (7 H, 6 BB, HBP, .560 OBP) in his last 13 games of the regular season (from 9/9)... Appeared in his first career postseason game in Game 3 of the NLDS vs ATL on 10/14; pinch-ran for Castellanos in the seventh inning and remained in the game to play RF.

2023

Attended MLB Spring Training camp with PHI as an NRI... Appeared in 23 games for PHI before being acquired by SF in exchange for cash considerations on 6/22....Was claimed off waivers by ATL on 7/13 and spent the rest of the season with Triple-A Gwinnett.
