Designated for assignment on 6/22 and was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as a minor league free agent on 6/30 ... Assigned to Double-A Tulsa, making four appearances (three starts) for the Drillers...Sent to Triple-A Oklahoma City on 8/3 ... Pitched for the Mayos de Navojoa of the Mexican Pacific Winter League, making 13 starts and going 6-2 with a 2.85 ERA (25 ER/79.0 IP) and 52 strikeouts

2016

Saw his first major league action as a September call-up with Tampa Bay, posting a 1.35 ERA (2 ER/13.1 IP) and 1.275 WHIP over 7 relief appearances…made ML debut on 9/2 vs. TOR, and his 1st 3 batters faced were all 2016 All-Stars: Josh Donaldson (single), Edwin Encarnacion (walk) and Michael Saunders (strikeout)…at 31 years, 256 days, was 2nd-oldest player ever to make ML debut for the Rays, behind 35-year-old LHP Jim Morris in 1999…faced minimum 9 BF in 2nd career outing 9/5 vs. BAL, which opened a stretch of 10.0 consecutive innings without an earned run…lost on 9/28 at CWS, with Todd Frazier solo HR in that outing being his only HR allowed in 107.1 IP between MLB and AAA for the year…had 27 G/12 GS for Durham (AAA), going 6-4, 2.68 (28 ER/94.0 IP).

Spent the season with Triple-A Norfolk...Earned his first Major League call-up on 4/11, spending two days on the roster but did not appear in a game...Went 7-6 with a 3.48 ERA (30 ER/77.2 IP) in 17 games (13 starts) for the Tides before the All-Star break...Opponents hit .230 (94-for-409)...Made 13 starts for Mayos de Navojoa of the Mexican Winter League after the season.

Was converted into a knuckleballer, and went a combined 6-11 with a 4.43 ERA (142.1IP, 70ER) and 114 strikeouts for Double-A Bowie (4-6, 3.64 in 16GS) and Triple-A Norfolk (2-5, 6.23 in 9GS)...Threw a 7.0-inning no-hitter on June 30 vs. Harrisburg, earning Eastern League Pitcher of the Week honors (June 24-30)...Was named Organizational Pitcher of the Month in June after going 3-2 with a 2.02 ERA (35.0IP, 8ER).

2012

Began the season with Double-A Bowie…Ranked 3rd on the Baysox in wins (8)…Was 4th on the team in innings pitched (92.0) and strikeouts (71)…Made 10 of his first 12 appearances out of the bullpen and went 2-0 as a reliever with Bowie with one save and a 1.59 ERA (22.2IP, 4ER)…Pitched 15.2 consecutive scoreless innings, April 24-May 10…Started in his final 11games and went 6-4 with a 3.89 ERA (69.1IP, 30ER) in 13 starts with Bowie…Pitched 7.0 innings and allowed one earned run while striking out a season high-tying seven on August 22 at Richmond…Threw 6.0 shutout innings in his only start with Class-A Frederick, allowing two hits and striking out four…Did not allow a run in his first 7.0 innings with Triple-A Norfolk.
 

2011

Appeared in 21 games for Double-A Bowie, finishing with an ERA of 3.05…Recorded a season-high eight strikeouts in last start of the season, September 3 vs. Erie…Recorded at least one strikeout in all but three appearances…Appeared in two games for Class-A Aberdeen on a rehab assignment, allowing one earned run and striking out nine batters in 7.0 innings of work.

2010

Made 24 of his first 25 appearances out of the bullpen before starting in his final 10 games of the season…In eight
appearances (three starts) in July, pitched to a 2.01 ERA (22.1IP, 5ER)…Set a new career-high with seven strikeouts, July 29 against New Britain.
 

2009

Notched his first career save May 22 against Kannapolis…After being promoted to Frederick on June 28, had nine consecutive scoreless outings…Was promoted to Bowie on August 21 and did not allow an earned run in seven appearances.

2008

Finished 3rd on the team in innings pitched (62.0), posting five quality starts in 12 outings.
