Began the season with Double-A Chattanooga, before moving up to Triple-A Louisville and eventually making his Major League debut with Cincinnati. Made his Major League debut on May 24 against St. Louis, tossing one inning of relief and giving up two hits, one run and one walk while striking out one…did not factor in the decision. Notched his first Major League win on June 6 against the Dodgers, firing one perfect inning and striking out two. Finished his first Major League season 1-0 with an 8.03 ERA (11 ER/12.1 IP). In nine relief appearances with Double-A Chattanooga, went 0-0 with a 0.68 ERA (one ER/13/1 IP), giving up only two walks and holding batters to a .176 average. With Triple-A Louisville, spun a 1-1 record with a 9.09 ERA (33 ER/32.2 IP) with 27 strikeouts against 20 walks.
