Was traded to the A's in the Sean Manaea deal on April 3 and spent the entire season at Single-A Lansing, where he batted .278 with two home runs, 32 RBI and a .669 OPS in 97 games…Ranked fourth in the Midwest League in batting…Was fifth in the A's farm system in batting and 10th in hits (101)…Hit .301 with a .757 OPS against left-handed pitchers, .269 with both of his home runs and a .634 OPS against right-handers…His average improved to .297 with runners in scoring position…Batted .316 at night, .159 during the day…Started 47 games at shortstop, 33 at second base, 10 at designated hitter and five at third base…Committed five errors at short (.969 fielding percentage), three at second (.980) and one at third (.923)…Made starts at every spot in the batting order with his most coming batting second (18)…Went 15-for-33 (.455) over an eight-game stretch from April 12-20 and batted .304 in April…Hit safely in nine straight games from April 30 to May 11 (11-for-35, .314)…Went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles on June 30 at Lake County to begin a six-game hitting streak (12-for-22, .545)…Was placed on the injured list Aug. 18 with a sprained right knee…Was reinstated on Sept. 4 and went 5-for-11 (.455) over his final four games…Played for Toros Del Este in the Dominican Winter League following the season and went 1-for-8 (.125) in three games.
