Split his 1st season as a professional between AZL Padres 2 (R) and Fort Wayne (A), batting a collective .265 with 7 2B, 3 3B, 17 RBI, 12 BB and 26 runs scored...Made his professional debut with the AZL Padres 2, slashing .275/.329/.353...During the offseason, played for the Canberra Cavalry of the Australian Baseball League and hit .271 (29-for-107) with 6 2B, 1 3B, 5 HR and 23 RBI in 29 games.
