Acquired from the Boston Red Sox along with RHP Jamie Callahan and RHP Stephen Nogosek in exchange for RHP Addison Reed on July 31...Was assigned to St. Lucie (A) of the Florida State League after the trade...Went 0-1 with five saves, a 1.26 ERA (two earned runs/14.1 innings) and 20 strikeouts for St. Lucie...Was clocked throwing over 100 mph...Prior to the trade, Bautista was 3-2 with four saves, a 5.16 ERA (26 earned runs/45.1 innings) in 27 games for Salem (A) of the Carolina League.
