Ian loves to travel and hunt…he enjoys visiting the mountains in Colorado and has been as far as Australia, but only for 36 hours…his father, Russel, is a British expat and the two have made trips to watch the national team in the Rugby World Cup in both Australia and Paris...Russel was 25 years old when he came to the United States…he hails from the island of Jersey in the English Channel, an area of just 36 square miles…he attended Oxford and came to the U.S. as an oil trader, but is now retired in Dallas…his mother, Pam, is Cajun...Ian's family moved all around when he was young…he's lived in Bermuda, Boston and New York in addition to Texas…the family has lived in Houston since he was 8 years old...He grew up an Astros fan and loved to to watch Roger Clemens pitch, studying his approach and how he attacked hitters…he likes to be that way on the mound as well...Ian's fastball has been clocked at 100 mph.
