On 5/13 was recalled from AAA-Louisville and made his Major League debut that night at AZ...On 5/18 at LAD singled off Walker Buehler for his first career hit...In the second inning on 5/21 vs. SD plated a run on what was originally ruled a flyout and missed catch error by Padres backstop Luis Campusano...On 5/23 was changed to a sacrifice fly, awarding Hurtubise with the first RBI of his Major League career...His five strikeouts through his first 10 Major League games were the fewest by any Reds batter in that span since TJ Friedl (0 K) in 2021...In nine of his first 10 Major League games with an at-bat (5/14 at AZ to 5/26 vs. LAD) reached base safely (7 H, 3 BB, 1 HBP)...On 5/25 vs. LAD capped off his first career multi-hit game (2 H) with a 6th-inning double off Walker Buehler, his first career extra-base hit...On 6/6 vs. CHC became the first Major Leaguer to record at least two sacrifice hits in a game since HOU Martín Maldonado on 6/9/23 at CLE (also 2 SH) and the first Reds position player to do so since Billy Hamilton on 9/5/17 vs. MIL (also 2 SH)...Was one of just five Reds since 1954 with three-plus outfield assists in his first 18 career outfield appearances (5/14 at AZ to 6/12 vs. CLE), joining Gary Redus (three, 1982), Duane Walker (five, 1982), Vada Pinson (three, 1958) and Nino Escalera (three, 1954) h/t Elias...On 6/21 was optioned to Louisville, ending his lone stint with the Reds in 2024.

Was the organization's Minor League Position Player of the Year...Led all Reds Minor Leaguers in on-base percentage while ranking among the leaders in batting average (2nd), stolen bases (2nd), runs scored (2nd), triples (T2nd), walks (3rd), OPS (3rd, .961), slugging percentage (5th) and hits (T9th)…In just 83 appearances led the Southern League with 10 triples while ranking sixth in runs scored and seventh in stolen bases...Following the season played for Surprise in the prestigious Arizona Fall League (23g, .267, 4 2b, 13rbi, 11sb, .380obp)…On 11/14 was added to the 40-man roster, along with OF Rece Hinds and RHP Christian Roa.
