2021

Attended spring training as a non-roster invitee with New York (NL)...Spent majority of season with Triple-A Syracuse, where he led all Mets minor leaguers in wins...Began season with Syracuse, where he went 4-0 with a 3.82 ERA (33.0ip/14er) in six starts during the month of May...Had his contract selected by New York on 6/20... Started and tossed 4.0 scoreless innings in his Mets debut in game two of a doubleheader on 6/21 vs. Atlanta...Allowed five runs on eight hits in 6.0 innings in his next start on 6/28 at Washington...Was designated for assignment on 6/29 and outrighted to Syracuse on 7/3...Had contract selected by New York for a second time on 7/11...Surrendered a pair of homers in his lone relief outing with the Mets on 7/11 vs. Pittsburgh... Was designated for assignment on 7/28 and outrighted to Syracuse on 7/30...Was on the seven-day injured list from 8/13-29...Made five starts with Syracuse after being activated from the injured list on 8/29.

2020

Spent majority of season at San Diego’s alternate training site...Had his contract selected on 8/2 before being optioned back the next day...Was signed by Texas as a minor league free agent on 8/30, where he would spend the rest of the season at the team’s alternate training site.

2019

Began the season with Lehigh Valley (AAA) and was recalled to the ML club on April 16 after making 2 starts...Joined Tommy Greene (1991), Steve Carlton (1981) and George McQuillan (1907) as the only Phillies since the current mound distance was established in 1893 with 3 straight starts of at least 5.0 IP, 1 or 0 runs, 3-or-fewer hits (April 26-May 8)...Had an 11.0-inning scoreless streak from May 3-14 and tossed a career-high 8.0 innings on May 8 at STL...Placed on the 10-day IL on June 17 with right bicep tendinitis and was transferred to the 60-day IL on Aug. 14...Reinstated from the 60-day IL on Aug. 19 and was recalled again on Sept. 1...placed on 60-day IL for remainder of the year with a right middle finger blister/laceration.

2018

Began the season on the 10-day DL with a right lat strain...Had rehab assignments to Reading (AA), 5/15-19, and Lehigh Valley (AAA), 5/20-29, before being transferred to the 60-day DL on 5/30...Reinstated from the 60-day DL on 9/3 after rehab assignments to Clearwater (A), 8/4-18, and Lehigh Valley, 8/19-9/2...In his 8 rehab starts, went 0-1, 2.90 ERA (10 ER, 31.0 IP), 25 H, 13 BB, 23 SO, 4 HR... His appearance on 9/8 at NYM was his first-ever ML relief appearance, and first appearance at all since 8/30/17...Made his first start of the season on 9/28 vs ATL, his first in 394 days, the longest stretch between starts by a Phillie since Raul Valdes (395 days), 6/27/12-7/27/13...Struck out 8 batters in 3.1 innings (15 batters faced) on 9/28 vs ATL, tying a Phillies franchise record by striking out 7 consecutive batters at one point (others: Steve
Carlton on 5/9/81 and Curt Schilling on 8/26/96).

2017

Made his second career Opening Day roster... Posted a 2.55 ERA (7 ER, 24.2 IP) in his first 4 starts... Had a streak of 12 straight starts with 3 ER or fewer, 8/30/16-4/22/17... 31 of his first 50 career starts were quality starts, most by a Phillies starter in his first 50 career starts since Curt Schilling, 1992-93 (34 QS in 45 GS with PHI, first 5 career starts with BAL)... Won his first game of the season in his 15th start, 7/9 vs SD; received 2.70 runs of support per 9.0 IP until that date... Was on the DL for the first time in his career, 6/20 (retro to 6/18)-7/8 (upper back strain); included a rehab assignment with Reading (AA)... Posted a 3.27 ERA (8 ER, 22.0 IP) with 25 SO in 4 July starts... Held opponents to a .218 AVG (29-133) with RISP, the 6th-lowest among all NL pitchers and 9th-lowest in MLB (min. 160 batters faced with RISP)... Placed on the 10-day DL on 8/31 (nerve irritation in his right hand) and missed the remainder of the season.

2016
