Made 43 relief appearances for Triple-A Albuquerque, going 2-5 with a 3.96 ERA (22 ER in 50.0 IP)… his 43 appearances were ninth-most by a Rockies farmhand... Signed to a Minor League contract with the Rockies three times after being DFA’d (May 27) and released (July 1).

2023

Appeared in 15 games for the New York Mets, pitching to a 4.58 ERA (19.2 IP, 10 ER) with eight walks and 16 strikeouts... Made the Mets Opening Day roster … optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on April 21 … served three more stints on the active roster: April 29-May 4, June 10-June 19, Aug. 1-Aug. 5 … recalled on Aug. 14 and placed on the 60-day IL with loose bodies in his right elbow... Owned a 2.00 ERA (9.0 IP, 2 ER) in five home games with the Mets compared to a 6.75 ERA (10.2 IP, 8 ER) in 10 road games... With Syracuse, went 1-2 with a 7.17 ERA (21.1 IP, 17 ER) through 18 games.

Made Miami's Opening Day roster before being traded to Milwaukee...Made six appearances before sustaining an UCL injury on Aug. 15...Underwent Tommy John surgery in Sept.

2020

John Pickens Curtiss appeared in 17 games with the Rays in 2020 going 3-0 with two saves (two save opportunities) and a 1.80 ERA. Posted 25 strikeouts to just three walks in 25.0 innings of work... Curtiss made nine postseason relief appearances in 2020, including three in the World Series, going 1-0 with 2.70 ERA (3.1 IP/1 ER)... His 1.08 BB/9 and 8.33 SO/BB ranked third and sixth, respectively, among all relievers (min. 15 GP).

2019

Spent most of the season at the Triple-A level between the Angels and Phillies organizations…acquired by the Angels from the Twins on Jan 15 for minor league infielder Daniel Ozoria… pitched out of the bullpen on April 15 at TEX, his only outing for the Angels…designated for assignment on June 3 and elected free agency on June 6… signed by the Phillies and was released on July 7.

2018

Began season with Triple-A Rochester...Played in five games for Red Wings before being recalled April 30...Made two appearances for Twins and was optioned back to Rochester May 2...Allowed just three home runs on season for Red Wings (55.1 IP) and led team in saves (10)... Combined to go 2-5, 3.06 ERA (61.2 IP - 21 ER) with 35 walks and 68 strikeouts in 46 games between Minnesota and Rochester.

2017

Began the season with Double-A Chattanooga and went 2-0, 0.72 ERA (25.0 IP, 2 ER) with 35 strikeouts and 13 saves before promotion to Triple-A Rochester on June 23...Named Twins minor league Player of the Week May 27, pitching 3.0 scoreless innings with one hit, one walk, six strikeouts and three saves in three games...Appeared in 18 games for the Red Wings with a 1.85 ERA (24.1 IP, 5 ER); contract selected by the Twins on August 23...Made major league debut on August 25 at Toronto, striking out Steve Pearce in a perfect ninth inning as the Twins won 6-1...Named relief pitcher on the Twins Organizational All-Star team by MiLB.com
