Spent most of the 2019 season with Triple A Omaha, hitting a career-high 20 home runs... Recalled from Omaha on June 14 and hit safely in four of his five games with Kansas City, including three multi-hit games... Had a career-high six RBI on July 31 at Tacoma, including a grand slam... Jorge put together a solid year despite missing six weeks (May 14-June 24) with a broken bone in his hand...Opened season at Wilmington (A-Advanced) and was promoted to Northwest Arkansas (AA) after returning from the disabled list, July 26...Batted .373 (31-for-83) with a .627 slugging percentage (9 doubles, 1 triple) against left-handed pitching combined over the three levels...Over the final five weeks of the season, ranked eighth in the Texas League in batting average (.301) and 10th in on-base percentage (.371).
