Attended the University of Oklahoma where he played baseball and was a Planned Programming major...Parents are Wayne and Gwen Tyler, and has a sibling, Easton...Attended Westmoore High School and finished his senior season 10-0 with 0.70 ERA and 102 strikeouts in 60.0 IP. Was selected by the Angels out of the University of Oklahoma, where he played three seasons and went 7-5 with a 3.60 ERA in 41 games (22 starts) with 131 strikeouts in 127.1 innings.

2023

Was signed by Seattle as a Minor League free agent on Feb. 3 and spent the entire season with Double-A Arkansas, going 7-11 with a 5.60 ERA (84 ER/135.0 IP) in 27 appearances (26 starts). Set career highs in innings pitched, games started, and strikeouts (138) in his first full professional season as a starter. Following the season, was signed by Miami as a Minor League free agent with an invitation to 2024 Spring Training.

2021

Made five appearances with LAA in 2021 (all in relief), pitching 12.1 innings with a 2.92 ERA (4 ER, 12.1 IP)…Divided the season between Double-A Rocket City (15 app.), Triple-A Salt Lake (5 app.) and the Angels (5 app.)…Between the minor league clubs, posted a 3.66 ERA (35 ER, 86.0 IP) in 20 appearances (14 games started).

2018-20

Did not play in the Pandemic-shortened 2020 season, and he split 2019 between Single-A Burlington and Single-A Inland Empire for a 2.59 ERA in 25 appearances...in his first professional season in 2018, made 15 appearances for Rookie-Level Orem, posting a 5.11 ERA.
