Was born in Park Ridge, Ill., but spent most of his youth in California after moving there when he was four years old...Was originally drafted by Philadelphia in the third round of the 2015 draft out of Dana Hills (CA) High School...Played for Mike Scioscia on the Team-USA team that qualified for the Olympics last year. Williams went 8-for-18 (.444) with three extra-base hits in the qualifiers. Did not participate in the Olympics...Attended Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, CA, where he hit .315 , a team-leading 35 runs scored and 26 stolen bases. He also set the school record for stolen bases during his time with the Dolphins. He was committed to play collegiately at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before signing with Philadelphia...Is the son of Jeannine and Mark Williams and has two brothers (Jake and Ike) and a sister (Sami)...Despite mostly growing up in Orange County, he is a Chicago Bears fan since his father is a huge fan.
