•As a sophomore at Vermont, earned America East Player of the Year honors after leading the conference in batting average (.338), RBI (57), runs (57), slugging (.713) and on-base percentage (.495)...his 13 homers tied a school record while his RBI and runs scored total set new Vermont records...was one of 38 ﬁnalists named to the Brooks Wallace National Shortstop of the Year Watch List.
•Transferred to Tennessee in 2010 and hit.308 (122x396) with 32 doubles, 10 homers, 81 RBI and an .876 OPS (.406 OBP/.470 SLG) in his two years with the Vols.
•Was selected by Houston in the 20th round of the 2011 draft...signed by Astros scout Nick Venuto.
