2007
Began the season with the Phillies... Compiled an 11.25 ERA through 9 appearances before being optioned to Ottawa (AAA) on 4/26... 12 of his first 13 minor league appearances were scoreless... Held opposing hitters to a .210 avg... Did not allow a HR in his first 13 games before allowing 2 in his final 3 games... Had 10 SO in his final 7.2 IP (11.74 SO/9.0 IP)... Spent the season with Double-A Trenton, going 4-4 with a 4.96 ERA in 14 appearances (11 starts) ... went 3-2 with a 2.08 ERA (34.2IP, 8ER) in his first six starts of the season from 4/8-5/7 ... was placed on the disabled list from 5/24-7/10 with a right oblique strain ... returned to make five appearances (two starts) with the Thunder from 7/10-28 before being placed on the disabled list for a second time with left elbow tendonitis ... missed the remainder of the season after having arthroscopic surgery on his left elbow on 8/19.

Split the season between Single-A Tampa and Double-A Trenton, going 4-6 with a 3.47 ERA in 15 starts ... began the season at Tampa and in six starts went 2-3 with a 2.23 ERA, holding opponents to a .175 average (20-for-114) ... pitched 5.0 hitless innings on 5/20 at Bradenton ... was transferred to Trenton on 6/14 ... went 2-3 with a 4.26 ERA in nine starts with the Thunder ... was placed on the disabled list after his 7/31 start at Reading with left elbow tendonitis ... had season-ending arthroscopic surgery on his left elbow on 8/12.

Combined to go 3-12 with a 3.62 ERA in 25 games (23 starts) for Single-A Tampa and Double-A Norwich ... won two of his first three decisions of the season with Norwich, but went 1-7 before being transferred to Tampa on 7/16 ... was 0-4 with a 6.59 ERA in eight appearances (six starts) for Tampa ... made his first minor-league relief appearance on 8/24 at Dunedin, striking out all three batters faced.
