Made his major-league debut on September 4, in the second game of a doubleheader against Washington...Tossed 0.2 innings and allowed two earned runs while issuing three walks...Came up through the Braves’ system after being selected by Atlanta in the seventh round of the 2015 Amateur draft.

Was recalled to Atlanta three times, but never appeared in a game and has yet to make his major league debut…Was with the Braves for the first time from 7/19-21, before subsequent recalls from 8/9-13 and on 9/30... Made 28 total appearances between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett in his first full season since undergoing "Tommy John" surgery in June of 2017... Combined to go 6-2 with a 2.73 ERA (24 ER/79.0 IP) in 28 games between the two clubs, including 18 starts…Struck out 71 and allowed just 50 hits... Opened the season with Mississippi and went 0-1 with a 1.72 ERA (3 ER/15.2 IP) in seven starts before transferring to the Stripers on 5/13... Made 21 total appearances and 11 starts for the Gwinnett, going 6-1 with a 2.98 ERA (21 ER/63.1 IP)... Was named by the organization as Gwinnett's Pitcher of the Month for July after going 4-0 with a 1.86 ERA (4 ER/19.1 IP) in six total games... In 18 starts between the two clubs, went 3-2 with a 3.20 ERA (21 ER/59.0 IP) and a 1.322 WHIP…In 10 relief appearances, was 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA (3 ER/20.0 IP) and a 0.650 WHIP.

Placed on Gwinnett's disabled list on 4/6 and missed the majority of the season while recovering from "Tommy John" surgery, performed on 6/27/17 ... Made just four rehabilitation appearances (three starts) with the GCL Braves, and tossed 4.0 scoreless innings with two hits and six strikeouts ... Atlanta selected his contract on 11/20 ... Entered the season tabbed by Baseball America as Atlanta's No. 16 prospect and by MLB.com as No. 17.
2017
Made 15 starts on the season between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett, going 6-2 with a 4.14 ERA (36 ER/78.1 IP) and 68 strikeouts ... Was placed on the 7-day disabled list on 6/20 (right elbow strain) and missed the remainder of the season ... Underwent "Tommy John" surgery on 6/27, performed by Dr. James Andrews in Pensacola, FL.

Named Atlanta's minor league Pitcher of the Year after going 11-6 with a 2.47 ERA (41 ER/149.2 IP) ... Split his second professional season between Single-A Rome and Double-A Mississippi ... His 11 wins, 149.2 innings and 152 strikeouts each ranked second among all Braves minor leaguers ... Named to the mid-season South Atlantic League All-Star game and earned MiLB.com Organization All-Star honors ... Led the Rome staff in wins, starter's ERA, and strikeouts despite receiving a promotion to Double-A Mississippi on 8/20.
