Pitched three seasons at Oklahoma State, posting a 4.19 ERA in 60 games/one start (122.1IP, 121H, 140SO, 7SV), 2017-19… Honorable mention All-Big 12 Conference selection each of his last two seasons…Posted a 3.28 ERA in 30 relief outings as a junior (60.1IP, 44H, 22ER, 74SO)... Attended Verdigris High School (OK), going 27-2 in his HS career…Threw four no-hitters as a senior (and four one-hitters)… named The Oklahoman’s 2016 All-State Baseball Player of the Year and the Tulsa World 2016 All-Metro Player of the Year …Favorite band is The Eagles... Entered the 2022 season ranked as the No. 20 prospect in Cleveland system according to MLB.com...Named Best Control in Cleveland system by Baseball America entering ’22…Spent season in AAA Columbus, leading the International League and organization with 153.2 innings, fourth-most in all of Minor League Baseball…Was fourth in the IL in ERA (3.63)…Threw 21.0 more innings than anyone other pitcher in the system…Made his Triple-A debut in his 36th game (142.1IP career IP)... Posted a sub-3.94 ERA-or-lower in each of the first five months of the season before posting a Sept. ERA of 7.48 in five starts…Was on the Major League roster while the team was in Canada playing Toronto, Aug. 12-14, but did not pitch… For the week of 8/15-8/21, was named the IL Pitcher of the Week… Earned the honor after a scoreless outing vs. Toledo on 8/19 (6.0IP, 2H, 2BB, 8K), his fifth shut-out start of the season… Also worked 8.0-shutout IP on July 14 vs. Indianapolis (three hits).
