McNeese Award as the top prospect in the 2014 Cape Cod League…graduated from Oaks Christian High School (CA) where he led the Lions to the CIF Southern Section Division IV championship.
Secured a 2-1 record over a career-high 60 games at the Major League level, producing a 4.72 ERA (32 ER/61.0 IP) with 67 strikeouts against just 14 walks…owned a 1.10 WHIP...Pitched in six games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, obtaining a 9.00 ERA (5 ER/5.0 IP) while not factoring in any decisions…struck out six batters...His 60 outings were tied for fourth most on the team and allowed one run or less in 49 of those 60 appearances...Matched his career-high in innings pitched (2.0) four times: Aug. 2 vs. MIA, Sept. 2 vs. SD, Sept. 16 at SF, Sept. 20 vs. ARI…struck out a career-high four batters on Sept. 2 vs. SD in a scoreless relief appearance...Pitched well on the road, posting a 1-1 record and 3.12 ERA (12 ER/34.2 IP) and 0.98 WHIP with 39 punchouts, compared to a 1-0 mark with a 6.84 ERA (20 ER/26.1 IP) and 1.25 WHIP with 28 strikeouts at home Was even keeled before and after the All-Star break, registering a 5.04 ERA over 30.1 IP and a 4.40 ERA across 30.2 IP respectively…secured a win in each portion of the season…secured his two wins during the weekend: Sunday, July 10 vs. CHC and Saturday, Aug. 13 at KC…did not allow a hit with runners on the corners throughout the season…finished his season on the Injured List with right shoulder fatigue.
Started the year with Milwaukee before getting claimed off waivers by the Dodgers on May 3... With the Brewers, the righty pitched in just one contest April 16 against Miami, allowing two earned runs on two hits (one home run) and a walk over one inning... Appeared in five games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA (3 ER/5.0 IP) with 12 punchouts and zero issued walks from May 10 to May 21 before making his first appearance as a Dodger on May 23 at San Francisco, where he struck out one over 0.2 innings... Garnered a 4-2 record and 2.50 ERA (14 ER/50.1 IP) in Dodger blue this year, striking out 59 batters while issuing just 18 free passes…produced a 1.03 WHIP and limited the opposition to a .190 average (34-for-179)... Spent the majority of the season at the Alternate Training Site in Appleton, WI... Contract was selected by Milwaukee on 9/1.....made his Major League debut that night vs. Detroit (1ip, 4h, 4r, 4er, 2k, 2hbp, 1wp).....his first career strikeout was Grayson Greiner after hitting the first two batters he faced.....was his only outing with the Brewers as he was optioned back on 9/3.
Went 3-0 with a 2.48 ERA and one save in 20 relief appearances at Class-A Carolina...Held opponents to a .197 batting average with 53 strikeouts in 32.2 innings...Earned his first and only professional save on 8/24 vs. Lynchburg...Was named Brewers Minor League Pitcher of the Month for August/September after going 2-0 without allowing a run over nine appearances (18ip, 5h, 3bb, 28k)...Did not surrender a run over his last 14 appearances, covering 26.0 innings.....opponents batted .108 (9-for-83, 6bb, 39k)
