Pitched with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in the Japanese Pacific League in 2016...Has made exactly 21 starts (6-8, 7.37era) and 21 relief appearances (1-4, 5.75era) during his Major League career... Was signed as a free agent by Toronto organization on 3/1...Went 3-2 with a 2.95 ERA (61.0ip/20er) in 12 combined starts between New Hampshire (AA) and Buffalo (AAA)...Began season in Extended Spring Training before being assigned to New Hampshire in late May...Made two starts with the Fisher Cats (8.1ip/0r/10so) and was moved to Triple-A on 6/3... Pitched 4.0 scoreless innings in his first start with Buffalo on 6/4...Was sent back to Double-A on 6/14 and made six starts with New Hampshire from 6/14 thru 7/12...Gave up just two hits and whiffed eight batters while tossing a 7.0-inning shutout on 7/7 vs. New Britain (game one)...Finished season making two starts with Buffalo...Won his lone Triple-A decision in his last game on 7/28 vs. Lehigh Valley...Participated in the Dominican Winter League and went 4-0 with a 1.90 ERA (23.2ip/5er) and 29 strikeouts in five starts with Estrellas de Oreinte.

Split the season between Double-A Bowie, Triple-A Norfolk and Baltimore, making a combined 25 minor league appearances (14 starts) and two Major League appearances. Combined to go 4-4 with a 4.09 ERA (42 ER/92.1 IP) between Bowie and Norfolk...struck out 76 and walked 26 in his 25 outings...Recalled by the Orioles 4/15 and made two relief appearances before being optioned 4/20...allowed 10 runs in 1.1 innings of work...surrendered four runs in 1.0 inning 4/15 at TEX and six runs in 0.1 frame 4/20 at BOS.

2008

Was recalled from Triple-ANorfolk on June 2 and started @MIN June 3, picking up his first major league win as he allowed two runs on four hits and a walk over 5.1 IP...Finished seventh among ALrookie pitchers with 17 starts and 10th with a .296 batting average against...Made his first quality start July 1 vKC...Won a career-high three straight decisions, June 3-July 1...Allowed 18 ER over 5.2 IP(28.57 ERA) in 2 starts against Boston...Was optioned to Norfolk July 27 after going 4-3 with a 7.47 ERA(47.0IP, 39ER) in 10 starts for Baltimore...Was recalled August 22 and optioned again on August 31 so the O's could add a position player due to Melvin Mora's day-to-day status with a hamstring injury...Liz stayed with the club and was officially recalled September 2 as rosters had expanded...Shut out the Minnesota Twins for a career-high 8.0 innings September 14 in Baltimore...Struck out a season-high five batters in three different starts...Was 3-7 with a 3.62 ERAin 15 starts for Triple-ANorfolk...Allowed 35 ER on 77 H and 32 BB while striking out 85...Eight of his 15 starts for the Tides were quality starts...Fanned a season-high 10 batters April 24 vRichmond
