Sean Thomas White...resides with wife Kelli in Seattle...born in Pullman, WA and grew up on Mercer Island, where he attended high school...attended the University of Washington (2000-03), where he was a four-year letterwinner and was All-Pac-10 honorable mention in 2002-03 and still ranks among the Huskies all-time top-10 in starts (43), wins (19), innings (249.1) and strikeouts (181).
2010
Made 38 appearances in 3 stints with the Mariners, third-most among Mariners relievers...missed the final month of the season with a sore right shoulder...made final appearance 9/1 vs. LAA...posted 2.70 ERA (4 ER, 13.1 IP) over his final 13 appearances. Suffered only loss of the season 8/16 at BAL on walk-off bunt single by Adam Jones in 11th inning...season- high 2.1 ip 8/7 vs. KC...threw perfect innings in consecutive days 8/4-5 vs. TEX...Made second career Opening Day roster (also 2007)...Had 2.92 ERA (4 ER, 12.1 IP) through his first 15 relief appearances before being optioned to AAA Tacoma...stranded 16 of 26 inherited base runners (61.5%)...did not allow an earned run in 10 relief appearances with Tacoma (13.0 ip).

Spent the entire season at Tacoma (AAA)...went 6-11, 5.47 (76 ER, 125.0 IP) in 22 starts...tied for the Rainiers team lead in starts (22) and led the team in losses (11)... was 4-3 with a 4.37 ERA through his first 10 starts, April 6-May 25...lost 7 consecutive starts May 30-July 2...lasted 6.0-or-more innings in 12 of 22 starts...season-high 8.0 innings July 7 at Salt Lake (8.0,7,1,1,4,1)...missed the last month of the season with a right shoulder strain.

Made his Major League Debut April 4 vs. Oakland (3.1,2,1,1,1,1)...made 15 appearances, all in relief, going 1-1, 5.60 (22 ER, 35.1 IP)...recorded his first ML victory May 15 vs. LAA...ranked in the top 5 among AL rookie relievers in hit batters (1st, 8) and wild pitches (T3rd, 5)...placed on the 15-day disabled list June 2 with right biceps tendinitis...made 6 rehab starts at Peoria, Wisconsin and Tacoma...combined to go 2-3, 4.15 (12 ER, 26.0 IP)...in final tune-ups at AAA Tacoma, went 1-1, 2.53 (3 ER, 10.2 IP)...made 6 relief appearances after being activated from the DL on Sept. 1...posted a 2.45 ERA (3 ER, 11.0 IP) and limited opposing batters to a .237 batting average (9x38).

Was a Major League invitee to the Atlanta Braves spring camp...spent the season with Mississippi (AA)...went 5-6, 4.40 with a save in 21 games, 16 starts...was 5-4, 3.99 (39 ER, 88.0 IP) in 16 starts, 0-2-1, 6.91 (11 ER, 14.1 IP) in relief...allowed just three home runs in 109.1 innings (including rehab assignment)...did not allow a run in back-to-back starts June 3 and June 9 (10.0 IP, 10 H, 5 SO)...on the disabled list with a right shoulder strain from June 10-July 24.
2005
Split year between Myrtle Beach and Mississippi...ranked 4th in Braves organization with 11 wins, 8th with a 3.85 ERA and 10th with 98 strikeouts...was 9-3 in 18 games with Myrtle Beach...took a no-hitter into the 8th inning of his second Double-A start, July 23.

Held opponents to a .164 batting average in April and a .188 mark at home for Myrtle Beach (A)...had two games with 7.0 IP of shutout ball: April 29 and Aug. 6.
