Signed minor league contract with Rangers on Apr. 18 and opened season with Triple-A Round Rock...Made four starts with a 2.53 ERA (21.1 IP - 6 ER) before earning promotion to Texas on May 15...Made two appearances in relief with Rangers...Designated for assignment on May 26 and traded to Miami for cash on May 30...Appeared in 15 games (five starts) with a 3.24 ERA (41.2 IP - 15 ER) and 38 strikeouts across two stretches with Triple-A Jacksonville...Recalled by Miami for the first time on June 22, went 0-2 in four games (two starts) with a 9.00 ERA (13.0 IP - 13 ER) with Marlins during three Major League stints to finish the season...Also appeared in one game for Olmecas de Tabasco in the Mexican League.

2022

Started season with Triple-A Buffalo...Went 2-1 with a 3.91 ERA (46.0 IP - 20 ER) and 39 strikeouts in 14 minor league appearances (six starts)...Contract selected by Blue Jays on June 27 and appeared in one game in relief before being optioned back to Triple-A Buffalo, where he ended the season with a 2.77 ERA (39.0 IP - 12 ER) across his final 21 games.

2021

Split the 2021 season between Minnesota, Baltimore and San Diego, going 0-0 with an 8.49 ERA (22 ER/23.1 IP) over 16 contests...Appeared in 18 games in the Triple-A level with El Paso, Round Rock and St. Paul, finishing the year with a combined 2-0 record and a 2.70 ERA (7 ER/23.1 IP).

2020

Began the season with San Francisco, his first appearance on a major league Opening Day roster...Completed his second big league season with the Giants, posting a 3.52 ERA (15.1 IP, 6 ER) in 18 games across two stints...Appeared in 13 games before being optioned to the Giants' alternate training site on Aug. 26...recalled on Sept. 18 and finished the season in the majors...Inherited 10 runners and allowed just three to score (30.0 IR scored percent)…held opponents to a .182 (10-for-55) average against overall...Threw his slider 53.4% of the time last season, eighth highest among all right-handed pitchers (min. 250 pitches)…posted a 39% whiff percent on the pitch, while holding opposing hitters to a .108 (4-for-37) batting average...Ended the season on a career-best 5.1-inning scoreless streak, beginning on Aug. 25 vs. Los Angeles-NL.

2019

Went 3-5 with a 5.44 ERA and two saves (58er, 96.0ip) in 28 games (16 starts) in his first season with SF... In 16 starts, he went 3-4 with a 5.33 ERA (49er, 82.2ip) and a 1.55 WHIP...in his 12 appearances as a reliever he went 0-1 with a 6.08 ERA (9er, 13.1ip) while earning his first career save on September 10 vs. Pittsburgh (was a closer at the University of Florida)... In the month of June, he went 3-1 with a 3.47 ERA (14er, 36.1ip) with a .250 opponent's batting average against...picked up his first big league win on June 1 at Baltimore... Landed on the 10-day injured list with a blister on Aug. 8...pitched exclusively out of the bullpen after returning in late August... Opened the year in Triple-A and made seven starts for the River Cats before making his Major League debut...also made one rehab start with Sacramento.

2018

Split his third professional season between double-A Richmond and triple-A Sacramento, combining for an 8-7 record and a 3.69 ERA in 25 games (24 starts)...Among Giants farmhands he ranked third in strikeouts and fourth in ERA...Was selected to represent the Giants at the 2018 All-Star Futures Game in Washington, D.C...Was selected to the EL All-Star Game but did not participate due to his Futures Game selection...Enters 2019 ranked as the third-best prospect in the Giants' farm system by MLB Pipeline.
