Tanner Logan Andrews...Graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School in Akron, Indiana...Andrews was a four-year varsity letter-winner, also playing four years of varsity football and basketball...Named the team MVP in football, baseball, and basketball each of his upperclassman years...His father played basketball at Grace College and his brother played baseball at Jackson Community College...Attended Purdue University from 2015-18, combining to go 17-15 with a 3.69 ERA (106 ER/258.2 IP), 120 walks, 184 strikeouts and a 1.44 WHIP over 60 appearances (38 starts)...As a junior, was named Academic All-Big Ten as well as Big Ten Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 20 and March 6...In his senior season, named to Third Team All-Big Ten, Academic All-Big Ten, and a Big Ten Sportsmanship Honoree...Played Collegiate Summer ball with the Kokomo Jackrabbits in 2015 and with the Kalamazoo Growlers in 2016...His favorite team growing up was the Atlanta Braves, and his favorite player was Chipper Jones.

2025

Started the year in Independent ball with the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Independent League...In 15 appearances with the FerryHawks, pitched 13.2 scoreless innings with a pair of walks, 25 strikeouts, three saves and a 0.51 WHIP...After signing with the Minnesota Twins in June, was assigned to Double-A Wichita...Across 14 appearances in the organization, posted a 3.78 ERA (7 ER/16.2 IP) with a 1.73 FIP, a 2.96 xFIP, a 4% walk rate, a 24% strikeout rate and a 33.8% whiff rate...Placed on the seven-day injured list from July 21-Aug. 19 and again from Sept. 6-30.

2024

Spent the entirety of the 2024 campaign remaining at Triple-A Sacramento.. Appeared in eight games with the Cangrejeros de Santurce of the Puerto Rican Winter League in the offseason, before becoming a free agent.

2023

Promoted to Triple-A Sacramento for the 2023 season, where he posted a 5.74 ERA in 27 appearances (two starts) with a 4.42 FIP, a 21.8% strikeout rate and a 31.1% whiff rate...On the injured list from July 30-September 25.
