Made his 1st-career Opening Day roster after he hit .361 (13-for-36) in 13 games in San Diego's Spring Training/ Summer Camp with 1 2B and 1 HR... In his 1st season as a Padre in 2020, was awarded his 1st career Gold Glove award, becoming the 1st Padres Gold Glove Award winner since Chase Headley (3B in 2012)... joined Steve Finley (1995-96) and Mike Cameron (2006) as Padres center fielders to win the award... Split the season between Double-A Biloxi (63 games), Triple-A San Antonio (34 games) and MIL (51 games), making his Major League debut on August 1 at OAK...Began the season at Biloxi (AA), where he batted .254 with 13 HR and 41 RBI in 63 games and earned Southern League All-Star honors...Named SL Player of the Week for May 27-June 2 after batting .409 (9-for-22) with 3 HR and 12 RBI in 6 games...Promoted to SA on June 20 and batted .381 with 13 HR and 30 RBI in 34 games...Named Brewers Minor League Player of the Month for May, June and July...Had his contract selected by MIL on August 1 and made his ML debut that same day at OAK… started in CF and went 0-for-3 with a sac fly...Made 36 starts (14 in CF, 13 in RF and 9 in LF)…hit .231 with 6 HR and 24 RBI in 51 games with MIL...Notched his first ML hit (single off Yu Darvish) and home run (solo off Tyler Chatwood) on August 4 at CHC.

Hit .223 with 8 HR, 45 RBI and 38 stolen bases in 133 games with Carolina (A)...led the Carolina League and ranked 2nd in all of minor league baseball in BB (98)…also led the league in games (133) and was among the leaders in runs (T-2nd, 78), SB (T-2nd, 38) and OBP (4th, .360)...Entered the 2017 season as MIL's 6th-best prospect in the organization according to Baseball America.
