Victor Bericoto #83

His grandfather (José Bericoto) and father (also Victor) were the ones that helped teach him baseball. Bericoto thinks he was about four years old when he started playing baseball...His younger brother, José, is currently an outfielder in the Padres organization...Growing up he played against fellow Giants NRI Diego Cartaya when they were about 10/12 years old.

2025

Spent the majority of the season with Double-A Richmond...slashed .267/.351/.433 with 43 runs, 15 doubles, three triples, 12 home runs and 49 RBI in 93 games for Richmond...Named the Flying Squirrels' Player of the Year...he ranked among Eastern League leaders in batting average (.267, 10th) and slugging percentage (.433, 10th)...he led the Squirrels in home runs (12), RBI (49), OPS (.784), extra-base hits (30) and total bases (149)...His 15 home runs ranked tied for fifth most among Giants farmhands...Played 52 games at first, 41 in right field and 17 as a designated hitter...Reached Triple-A for the first time in his career, batting .196 (9-for-46) with a double, a homer and four RBI in 11 games before sustaining a left elbow strain that landed him on the IL...Missed a few weeks before being sent out on a rehab assignment to the ACL Giants...appeared in six games and was activated from the IL and reassigned back to Richmond...Was one of the Eastern League's top hitters from Aug. 1 through the end of the season, batting .338 (48-for-142) with four homers, five doubles, two triples, 17 walks and 23 RBI in his final 39 games...Continued his success in the Venezuelan Winter League following the season, appearing in 31 games for the Leones del Caracas...batted. 340 (36-for-106) with 10 extra-base hits, 15 RBI, 12 runs scored, eight walks and an .851 OPS. 

2024

Led Double-A Richmond in RBI (60) while his 11 homers were second-most on the team...Played for the Leones del Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League after the season, where he hit .298 with 17 runs, five doubles, five homers and 14 RBI across 31 games. 

2023

Led the Giants organization with 27 homers and 86 RBI...Named Northwest League Player of the Week on June 18 and was also named a MiLB.com Organization All-Star...Played for the Navegantes del Magallanes of the Venezuelan Winter League, slashing .268/.308/.437 with 13 runs, six doubles, two homers, seven RBI and three steals. It was his first season in the VWL.
