Was 1-0, 4.15 (8 ER, 17.1 IP) with 18 strikeouts and 8 walks in 14 relief appearances with the Mariners...Appeared in 2 stints with Seattle: July 31 - Aug. 23 (postgame) and Sept. 3 - end of season...Earned his first career Major League win on Aug. 13 at Detroit…struck out 3 over 1.2 innings in relief as the Mariners won, 11-6...Allowed at least 1 run in 8 of 14 outings, including each of his first 3 games...Made Major League debut on Aug. 2 at Houston, allowing 1 run on 1 hit and 2 walks in 2.0 innings…selected from Double-A Arkansas on July 31...In 26 games (6 starts) with Double-A Arkansas, was 4-4 with a 2.51 ERA (16 ER, 57.1 IP) with 69 strikeouts and 11 walks.
