Club offers fans chance to buy possible ALDS tickets

Registration deadline Sunday at 11:59 p.m. CT; prices range from $30 to $85

The Rangers have announced their plans to allow fans to purchase possible postseason tickets for games at Rangers Ballpark.

Fans can register now at texasrangers.com/opportunity for a chance to buy up to four tickets for one of three possible American League Division Series games in Arlington. It's the only way to purchase individual tickets for possible ALDS games at Rangers Ballpark. The deadline to register is Sunday at 11:59 p.m. CT.

There is no charge to register and all registrants are automatically entered for a chance to buy tickets if the Rangers make the AL Championship Series or World Series.

A pool of randomly selected registrants that are chosen will be provided access to an online presale based on available inventory Sept. 16. The Rangers will notify those selected by email no later than Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. CT. Tickets start at $30 for standing room and go up to $85 for lower box and corner box seats. The 2013 ALDS is scheduled from Oct. 4-10.

The Rangers also have a special "Pay the Day" ticket special for the three-game series against the Pirates starting Monday. Upper reserved tickets will be $9 on Monday, $10 on Tuesday and $11 on Wednesday.
