Rangers to host Rays & Mariners during 6-game homestand, Sept. 17-23

The Texas Rangers will wrap up the home portion of the 2018 schedule with a six game homestand against the Tampa Bay Rays and Seattle Mariners beginning Monday, September 17.

The Texas Rangers will wrap up the home portion of the 2018 schedule with a six game homestand against the Tampa Bay Rays and Seattle Mariners beginning Monday, September 17
 
Tampa Bay arrives for a three game set Monday, September 17; Tuesday, September 18; and Wednesday, September 19. Game time is 7:05 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday before the series wraps up with a 1:05 p.m. matinee on Wednesday. 
 
Winter arrives at Globe Life Park on Monday and lasts through Wednesday, as the Iron Throne from the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones" will be located on the first base main concourse and available for fans to pose for pictures. The line will cut off in the eighth inning each night. 
 
Fans who purchase the special Game of Thrones Theme Night ticket through texasrangers.com/themenights for any of the three games will receive a limited edition, Rougned Odor Game of Thrones bobblehead.  
 
A special $1 Fandemonium Ticket Offer, Presented by 105.3 The Fan, is available for Wednesday's game. Upper box or upper reserved tickets and certain cash parking locations are only $1 with the online coupon code ONE. 
 
Wednesday also marks Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Day.  
 
The 2018 home schedule concludes with a weekend series against Seattle. The division foes square off at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, September 21, and Saturday, September 22. A 2:05 p.m. matinee on Sunday, September 23, wraps up the series.
 
Beginning Friday and recurring each of the remaining three home games, the Rangers will be giving away vouchers that can be redeemed for select April and May 2019 games at Globe Life Park. Vouchers will not be redeemable until 2019 tickets go on sale in March.  
 
On Friday, the Rangers will pay tribute to the brave men and women who serve or have served in the U.S. Military with Veterans Appreciation Night. Tickets purchased through texasrangers.com/themenights are eligible to receive a military themed Rangers cap. A limited number of hats are available for each branch on a first come, first serve basis.  
 
T-Mobile Friday Fireworks corresponding to highlights from the 2018 season played simultaneously on the videoboard will follow Friday's contest.
 
The Rangers will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night on Saturday. Prior to the game, Mariachi Nueva Era and Mariachi Damas will be performing from 4:45 until 6:45 p.m. on the concourse. And the first 1,000 Theme Night tickets for that night's game purchased through texasrangers.com/themenights will receive a custom El Rancho Texas Rangers soccer jersey.  
 
Saturday is also Whataburger Night. Fans can celebrate two great Texas traditions - the Rangers and Whataburger - by receiving a special Whataburger themed Rangers trucker cap exclusively with tickets purchased through texasrangers.com/themenights. 
 
Fan Appreciation Day is Sunday. Prizes, including autographed balls and jerseys, will be given away every half inning. And everyone will receive the 2018 Texas Rangers Team Photo, which will include the 2019 Rangers schedule.
 
Sunday is also Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday, with $1 ice cream for those 13 and younger.
