Texas Rangers and Papa John's extend relationship through 2023

Papa John's is Official Pizza of the Texas Rangers

The Texas Rangers and Papa John's announced today a multi-year extension of their sponsorship agreement which extends the relationship through 2023.

The promotional partnership, established in 2011, will make Papa John's the Official Pizza of the Texas Rangers.

"The Texas Rangers are thrilled to continue our partnership with Papa John's," commented Rangers Sr. Vice President, Partnerships and Client Services Jim Cochrane. "Rangers 7 has been one of the most popular promotions at Globe Life Park over the last several years, and we also appreciate Papa John's generosity with the Texas Rangers Foundation's RBI program."

Papa John's will receive digital assets, home plate signage, and English and Spanish radio spots as part of their sponsorship. When the Rangers score 7 or more runs in a game, fans receive half price on their entire online Papa John's order the following day by using the promo code RANGERS7.

"Relationships like the one we have with the Texas Rangers are critical to the success of our business," said Steve McNeil, operations vice president at Papa John's. "The Rangers are a first-class organization, and we look forward to what we can bring to their fans."

Over the past four seasons, Papa John's locations in Dallas, Austin and Waco have all given back to these communities through the Rangers7 program. The charitable offer, coined the "Rangers Double Play" was launched for 2014. For every $16 purchase of a Large Specialty Pizza and Dessert, a $1 donation was made to the Texas Rangers Foundation's RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program.

At the end of the season, the donations collected through online and offline sales across all three markets totaled an incredible $30,000.

"Giving back to the communities that support our business is an important part of the culture at Papa John's. We are proud of the great work we've done in the past, and we look forward to continuing and expanding upon that success in the future," McNeil said.
