New features announced for TwinsFest presented by Kwik Trip

Joe Mauer, Nelson Cruz highlight autograph sessions; further features include curling with Olympic Gold Medalist John Shuster

The Minnesota Twins and the Twins Community Fund today announced additional plans for all three days of TwinsFest 2019 presented by Kwik Trip. Held at Target Field from Friday, Jan. 25 through Sunday, Jan. 27, TwinsFest presented by Kwik Trip provides fans with exclusive and intimate baseball experiences throughout the course of the weekend.

On Friday, join the Minnesota Twins in congratulating franchise icon Joe Mauer on his recent retirement. The 2009 American League Most Valuable Player, six-time A.L. All-Star, five-time Silver Slugger Award winner and three-time Gold Glove Award recipient, who spent his entire 15-year major league career with Minnesota, is the only catcher in baseball history to win three league batting titles. The Saint Paul native, who will have his uniform number 7 retired by the Twins on June 15, will be available for a limited time during TwinsFest. Mauer will participate in autograph sessions on Friday and Saturday, as well as a photo session on Friday evening. Fans will also have the opportunity to bid online for a white glove archive tour with Joe and Twins curator, Clyde Doepner, beginning January 14 at twinsbaseball.com/MauerWGAT.
