Vice President, Assistant General Manager
Daniel Adler, who was named as an Assistant General Manager in November of 2019 and elevated to Vice President in November of 2021, enters his eighth season with the Twins, after originally joining the club as Director of Baseball Operations in 2017. He was named to Twin Cities Business’ list of “100 People to Know” in 2019.
In his current role, Adler is responsible for heading up the club’s arbitration, international scouting, and baseball research and development efforts, while he is involved in all facets of baseball operations, including roster construction, athletic performance, player acquisition and player development.
Adler began his career in baseball interning with the Labor Relations Department of Major League Baseball during the summers of 2009 and 2011. After his experiences with MLB, Daniel worked for Boston Consulting Group, focusing on assessing the firm’s internal analytic capabilities. In March of 2012, he was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars to launch and direct a newly created Football Research and Development department, one of the first of its kind in the NFL.
Adler, a native of Cleveland, earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics, J.D. and MBA from Harvard University. Daniel and his wife, Michele, reside in Minneapolis with their sons, Miles and Remy.
