Executive Vice President, Assistant General Manager
Daniel Adler is in his second season as Executive Vice President, Assistant General Manager and his 10th season overall with the Twins. He originally joined the club as Director of Baseball Operations in 2017, was named Assistant General Manager in November 2019, was promoted to Vice President in November 2021 and elevated to Executive Vice President in February 2025.
Within baseball operations, Adler leads the club’s efforts in baseball research & development, salary arbitration, and rules compliance. He is also involved in all aspects of baseball operations, including roster construction, athletic performance, player acquisition and player development. Within business operations, he oversees the club's Information Technology, Human Resources, and Business Strategy & Analytics departments.
Adler began his baseball career interning with Major League Baseball’s Labor Relations Department in the summers of 2009 and 2011. Afterward, he worked as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group. In 2012, he was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars to launch and lead their newly created Football Research department—one of the first of its kind in the NFL.
A Cleveland, OH native, Adler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, J.D., and MBA from Harvard University.
