Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Leticia Silva, who is beginning her 29th season with the Twins in 2026, was promoted to Senior Vice President, Human Resources in January of 2021. She began her Twins career as an intern in 1998, joined the club’s Finance/Human Resources department full-time during the 1998 season, and was elevated to Vice President in January of 2020.
Silva, who was named to the Sports Business Journal’s Game Changers: Women in Sports Business Class of 2022, oversees the club’s Human Resources department, strategically aligning its functions to drive organizational success while championing a dynamic, people centered culture that inspires passion, hustle, heart and FUN, making the Twins a great place to work. This includes talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership and skills development, competitive compensation and benefits, inclusion initiatives, HRIS optimization, employee relations, payroll, employee wellness programs, and fostering a culture of recognition and continuous learning. Additionally, she was the recipient of the Twins Tradition Award in 2021.
Silva received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, where she was a four-year recipient of the university’s Puckett Scholarship founded by Kirby and Tonya Puckett. Leticia currently holds certification as a Senior Certified Professional through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP) and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute.
