Senior Vice President, Operations
Matt Hoy, who is in his 32nd year with the Twins in 2017, was named Senior Vice President of Operations on January 18, 2012.
Hoy joined the Twins in January, 1986 as a member of the sales staff and has held positions as Director of Novelty Operations and Director of Sales. He was the Director of Operations before his promotion to Vice President in April of 1992.
His responsibilities include overseeing ballpark operations, guest and premium services, security, office services, grounds, maintenance, concessions and merchandise sales. He is the Twins liaison to the Minnesota Ballpark Authority and serves as the Chair of the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, which is held in February at the Mall of America and is one of the largest fundraising events in the Twin Cities area. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Warehouse District Business Association and the Board of Meet Minneapolis.
Hoy was born in St. Paul and attended Blake School in Hopkins, MN. He and his sons, Matt and Dan, reside in Mound, MN.
