Senior Advisor, Operations
Matt Hoy, who begins his 41st year with the Twins in 2026, shifted to the role of Senior Advisor, Operations in 2025 after serving as Senior Vice President, Operations since January 2012. He continues to provide oversight and support for the club's ballpark operations, guest and premium services, security, office services, grounds, maintenance, concessions and merchandise sales teams, while serving as a Twins liaison to the Minnesota Ballpark Authority and Delaware North.
Hoy and his staff have played a key role in Target Field’s continued standing as one of the premier sporting and in the Upper Midwest, successfully executing operations for annual ballpark enhancements and jewel events such as Major League Baseball’s Postseason (2010, ‘19, ‘20 and ‘23) and All-Star Game (2014); multiple sporting events including Minnesota prep tournaments, an international soccer match (2016), NCAA football games (2017, ‘19 and ‘23) and the 2022 Discover NHL Winter Classic®; and 30 major concerts and music festivals.
Hoy joined the Twins in January 1986 as a member of the sales staff, and has held positions as Director of Novelty Operations and Director of Sales. He was the Director of Operations before his promotion to Vice President in April 1992.
Hoy was born in St. Paul and attended Blake School in Hopkins, MN.
