Chicago Cubs and Levy Restaurants introduce new food offerings at Wrigley Field for the 2013 season

New food partners include Dippin' Dots Ice Cream and Uncle Dougie's Sauces, Marinades and Bloody Mary Mixes

CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs and Levy Restaurants will introduce several new food offerings at Wrigley Field this season, including menu items from new corporate partners Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream and Uncle Dougie’s Sauces, Marinades and Bloody Mary Mixes.

Dippin’ Dots will serve its unique ice cream from two carts on the terrace reserved concourse ramp along the left field line. Cubs fans can choose from several fun Dippin’ Dots flavors, including the popular Cookies ‘n Cream Ice Cream as well as refreshing Rainbow Ice.

Chicago-based Uncle Dougie’s, who makes natural, gluten-free, small-batch products with no high-fructose corn syrup, MSG or preservatives, becomes the Official Barbeque Sauce and Official Bloody Mary Mix of the Chicago Cubs. Uncle Dougie’s will feature its Sweet ‘n’ Snappy barbeque sauce on a succulent pulled pork sandwich at the Blue W concession stand, located on the main concourse by home plate; Trippers, located on the upper deck behind home plate; and Throwbacks, located in the lower right field bleachers. Twelve condiment dispensers will carry the barbeque sauce throughout the ballpark. Uncle Dougie’s signature Bloody Mary Mix and drinks will also be served at drink carts throughout the park and in the United Club.

Popular existing food partners such as Vienna Beef Hot Dogs and D’Agostino’s Pizza return to the ballpark this season. Qdoba Mexican Grill will once again serve chips and queso at the Qdoba Mexican Grill Queso Cart, located near aisle 134.  Others will introduce new offerings.

The High Plains Bison cart, located on the right field main concourse, will feature a Bison Bratwurst with sauerkraut or grilled onions, a Bison Italian Sausage with sautéed peppers and marinara, and a Footlong Bison Hot Dog with various toppings.

NYC Bagel Deli will once again serve two Wrigley Wraps; an Ovengold Turkey wrap and a vegetarian wrap with fresh vegetables.

Stanley’s Bar and Tap’s signature Stanburger will get beefed up with a 1/3 lb. patty for a bigger bite.

Vegetarian fans will enjoy Levy Restaurants’ new Veggie Hot Dogs, piled high with their favorite toppings, as well as a delicious new Veggie Chopped Salad. These new options join the Veggie Burger, Fresh Fruta Cup, Veggie Cups and other vegetarian menu items.

Levy Restaurants will also debut new Pretzel Sandwiches, such as the Ham & Swiss with house-made mustard butter; Roast Beef & Cheddar with arugula, tomatoes and horseradish mayonnaise; Turkey & Swiss with romaine, tomatoes and dijonnaise; or Vegetable with cucumbers, sun-dried tomato pesto, romaine, tomatoes, mint, edamame and hummus.

The “Sheffield Dip,” a new French dip-style Italian Beef Sandwich made with melted cheese and served with savory au jus dipping sauce, will be featured in Sheffield Grill, located on the right field main concourse.

Other options include Italian Beef Nachos with melted cheese and savory au jus topped with spicy giardinera; a “Chicago Chop” Footlong Hot Dog topped with chopped Chicago-style fixings; Chicken and Waffle Stix served with Maple Bacon Dippin’ Sauce; and Northside Taters tossed with special sauces or shakes, such as hot sauce, barbecue, ranch and more.
