Host a Camp

The opportunity to host a Dodgers Youth Camp is open to any youth baseball and/or softball organization.

Give the kids in your community the opportunity to receive top quality instruction right in their own neighborhood.

What is “Kids Take the Field”?

Kids Take the Field presented by UCLA Health gives a select winner the opportunity to run onto the field before the game to receive a signed baseball from a Los Angeles Dodgers player! One participant from each camp will be selected by random drawing, following the completion of camp. Each winner will receive two (2) tickets for the winner and their child.

Who is going to be at the Neighborhood camps?

All camps will be instructed by the Dodgers Training Academy instructors.

Will my child be able to bring cleats?

Out of respect for our host venues, no cleats will be allowed. We ask that your child wears athletic sneakers.

Does my child need to bring his/her own equipment?

Yes – for the health and safety of all campers, each child is required to bring his/her own equipment. This includes a fielding glove, bat(s), and batting helmets. Please make sure you clearly mark your child's belongings, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Does my child need to bring a lunch?

Please bring a pre-packed lunch and water bottle for your child each day. Lunches with ice-packs or cooler type lunch bags are permitted. Be sure to mark your child's belongings. Concession stands will not be open.

Where do I drop off/pick up my child?

You will receive an email the week of camp with instructions for drop off and pick up at their respective camp location.

Can I stay and watch the camp session?

Spectators are welcome, but available viewing space may vary by camp location.

Do I have to check in my child, or can a family member or friend do it?

All camp participants are to be checked in and out every day of camp by their parent, legal guardian, or a person designated during the online registration. To make any changes to your designated person prior to your camp day, please login to your dashboard. For safety, a valid form of ID will be required.

What if my child has special needs or requires accessible accommodation?

Our staff will always do our best to accommodate each child’s needs. We ask that you assist us by notating any specific needs during registration.

What is the refund/cancellation policy?

You may transfer your registration to a different session if space is available. There is no refund for days unattended by the camper.

What is the inclement weather policy?

Any camp days canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled for a later date. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, a credit will be issued to your account for future camp use. No refunds will be issued.
