LOS ANGELES -- MLB announced on Monday its 2020 Major League regular-season schedule that includes the All-Star Game presented by Mastercard, which takes place Tuesday, July 14 at a newly renovated Dodger Stadium.

MLB also will have Thursday, March 26 as Opening Day for all clubs, with the Dodgers hosting the Giants at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers also will play the Giants in the San Francisco home opener on Friday, April 3. The Dodgers and Giants also will play the only MLB game coming out of the break on Thursday, July 16 at Dodger Stadium.

On Jackie Robinson Day on April 15, the Dodgers will host the St. Louis Cardinals.

In Interleague Play, the National League West plays the American League Central. The Dodgers will host the Minnesota Twins on April 28 and 29; the Cleveland Indians on May 22-24, the Detroit Tigers on June 19-21 and the Angels on Aug. 25-26. They will visit Kansas City on May 15-17; Anaheim on July 10-11; Minnesota on July 28-29 and the Chicago White Sox on Sept. 8-10.

The series in Anaheim will mark the first time that Interleague prime rivals square off in the same market as the All-Star Game leading into the break.

The Dodgers close out the 2020 regular season on the road, with a three-game series at Coors Field on Sept. 22-24 followed by three games at San Diego on Sept. 25-27.

Two oddities in the schedule: the club will be off on Friday, March 27, the day after Opening Day, and on Sunday, July 12, leading into the All-Star break.

Logistically, the toughest trip for the Dodgers will be July 24-Aug. 2, visiting Miami, Minnesota and Arizona with no travel days between cities.
