The Dodgers have announced the signing of first-round Draft pick Kody Hoese.

The third baseman from Tulane will receive a signing bonus of $2,740,300, the full slot value for the No. 25 overall selection, according to MLB.com Draft expert Jim Callis. The club has not confirmed the bonus amount.

Hoese, 21, broke out as a junior this season, batting .391 with 23 homers and 61 RBIs in 58 games. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound slugger boasts good power with his right-handed swing and a strong arm.

“Kody is a guy we earmarked coming out of the fall that we really thought took a jump in both ability and performance," said amateur scouting director Billy Gasparino said during last week's Draft. "He’s an athletic 6'4", lean-bodied third baseman who we think is a plus defender."

Hoese was previously drafted by the Royals in the 35th round last year. He's one of 34 college players the Dodgers selected among their 41 picks this year, along with North Carolina second baseman Michael Busch, drafted a few picks later after Hoese at 31st overall.

Additionally, the Dodgers announced they have agreed to terms with RHP Ryan Pepiot (3rd, 102); RHP Nick Robertson (7th, 221); OF Ryan Ward (8th, 251); LHP Alec Gamboa (9th, 281); SS Zac Ching (10th, 311); RHP Logan Boyer (11th, 341); LHP Mitchell Tyranski (12th, 371); LHP Jacob Cantleberry (13th, 401); LHP Sean Mellen (14th, 431); OF Joe Vranesh (15th, 461); LHP Jeff Belge (18th, 551); SS Jimmy Titus (22nd, 671); RHP Cyrillo Watson (23rd, 701); OF Danny Sinatro (32nd, 971); 3B Julio Carrion (33rd, 1,001); CF Justin Washington (35th, 1,061); and C Tyler Ryan (38th, 1,151).

Los Angeles has signed 18 of the 40 players they selected in the 2019 Draft.
