did everything he could to get his team a win and then some in Game 1 of the Midwest League Championship Series on Sunday.

The top Dodgers prospect collected his second multihomer game of the year and posted a career-high five RBIs in High-A Great Lakes' 10-6 loss to Cedar Rapids.

The No. 4 catching prospect teed off in the second inning off Twins' left-handed prospect Christian MacLeod. With two on and one out, he crushed a three-run shot to right field.

Rushing's second homer of the game came one at-bat later in the fourth, and this time it was a two-run jack to right-center against a righty, Minnesota's No. 24 prospect Zebby Matthews.

MLB’s No. 43 overall prospect lofted 15 big flies over 89 games in the regular season, most of them in the past month. After returning from the 7-day injured list on Aug. 19, Rushing hit six long balls in a 13-game span.

Rushing only posted a .228 average but also sported an .856 OPS thanks to an OBP fueled by 72 free passes – seventh-most in the Midwest League.

Sunday’s performance marked the 2022 second-round pick's second consecutive multihit night. He leads the team with a 1.230 OPS in the postseason.
