Emil Morales only needed five games at High-A to showcase his ability to totally take over a ballgame.

The Dodgers’ No. 5 prospect provided nearly half the offense with his first two homers -- one of them a grand slam -- and a career-high six RBIs for Great Lakes in a 14-6 victory over Dayton on Tuesday night at Day Air Ballpark.

Morales had started his Midwest League tenure with just two hits in 18 at-bats through his first four games. The 19-year-old responded with a 3-for-6 night in his second multihomer game of the season.

MLB.com's No. 57 prospect got the party started in the first inning against Dayton right-hander Ovis Portes (Reds). He slugged a two-run homer to left-center field that landed on the awning of a concourse tent. In the ninth inning against lefty Graham Osman, Morales smashed a grand slam to left field that pushed the lead to double digits in the final frame.

The native of Spain recorded three or more hits for the sixth time this season after starting his 2026 campaign with a slash line of .323/.385/.570, six homers and 35 RBIs for Single-A Ontario. He amassed a .955 OPS over 36 games.

One of seven Dodgers prospects on the Top 100 Prospects list, Morales joined Los Angeles during the 2024 international signing period. The then-17-year-old inked a $1.87 million signing bonus, and made an immediate impact in the system a few months later by hitting .342 in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League with 14 home runs and 46 RBIs for a 1.168 OPS over 46 games.

Morales put his 60-grade power on full display Tuesday night, strengthening the top tools that have already been on display in his first few professional seasons and are helping him climb up the system.
