When you excel at your craft, opportunities will always be available to you. For evidence of this, look no further than Mike Sirota, who made his Triple-A debut on Saturday, officially traversing three Minor League levels in one season.
Although it was the penultimate game of the regular-season slate, the Dodgers’ No. 2 prospect made the most of the opportunity with Triple-A Oklahoma City. After two early walks, Sirota laced a double into right-center in the seventh inning for his first Triple-A hit.
He added a third walk and finished the game 1-for-2, living up to his reputation for on-base dominance. The Comets fell to El Paso, 14-8, at Southwest University Park.

Rewind to Thursday when Double-A Tulsa dropped Game 2 of the Texas League Division Series to Springfield, ending their season. Sirota looked sharp in his first taste of the postseason, showcasing his power in Game 1, when he launched a 423-foot home run onto the berm in left field.
Fortunately, all four full-season Dodgers affiliates made their respective postseasons, meaning Double-A disappointment quickly turned into a Triple-A promotion.
The Comets will start their quest for a Triple-A title on Tuesday when they take on the Las Vegas Aviators (A's) in the Pacific Coast League Championship Series. Sirota, who currently sits at No. 14 on the Top 100 Prospects list, brings quite the 2026 pedigree to their playoff picture.

The 23-year-old outfielder posted a 72-game on-base streak earlier this season across his time with High-A Great Lakes and at Double-A. In 107 games -- now across three levels -- he has hit .307 with a .992 OPS, the second-highest mark in the system.
The Dodgers have shown a willingness to elevate their top prospects into big situations, most prominently having done so with Josue De Paula (LAD No. 1/MLB No. 6) as the big league club zeroes in on a third consecutive World Series trophy. But Sirota will have a chance to earn some hardware of his own over the season's final week.
