The Dodgers put on an offensive clinic during a 17-1 rout of the Pirates at Dodger Stadium on Monday night, belting four home runs and tallying a season-high 21 hits, including a career-high-tying five from the red-hot Matt Kemp. Here's what to know about the record-setting night at Chavez Ravine:
• The Dodgers batted around in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings Monday, scoring six runs in the fourth, three in the fifth and four in the sixth. It marked the first time in franchise history the club sent nine or more batters to the plate in three straight frames, and the first time any team had done it since the Yankees on Aug. 25, 2011 vs. the A's.
• Kemp's big night, which included a three-run homer in the sixth inning for his 15th of the season, pushed his consecutive hits streak to eight. He is the first Dodger to go 8-for-8 since John Forsythe did so from June 30 to July 1, 2017. The all-time Los Angeles Dodgers record (dating back to 1958) for consecutive at-bats with a hit is 10, set by Andre Ethier from Aug. 22-25, 2012.
The MLB record for most consecutive at-bats with a hit is 12, set by the Tigers' Walt Dropo over three games from July 14-15, 1952. The Astros' Jose Altuve broke his own franchise record of eight straight hits when he hit safely in 10 consecutive at-bats earlier this season, from May 25-27.

• Rookie left-hander Caleb Ferguson came on in relief of Dodgers starter Alex Wood and pitched three innings to pick up his first career save. He became just the fifth pitcher since 2000 to record a save in a game with a run differential of 16 or more, joining the Phillies' Jake Thompson (20-1 victory over the Marlins on April 7 of this year), the Yankees' Adam Warren (21-5 victory over the Rangers on July 28, 2015), the Rangers' Wes Littleton (30-3 victory over the Orioles on Aug. 22, 2007) and the Red Sox's Willie Banks (22-4 victory over Tampa Bay on July 23, 2002).

• With their early outburst Monday, the Dodgers became the first team to record 20 or more hits within the first six innings of a game this season.

• With four more homers Monday night, the Dodgers have hit 60 in their last 28 games, including a franchise-record 55 during the month of June. In the first 56 games of the 2018 campaign, Los Angeles hit 56 home runs.
