June 28th, 2018

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers' apparently wasn't too pleased with Cubs catcher during a play at home plate in the first inning during a 7-5 Dodgers win on Wednesday night.
The Cubs had taken a 2-0 lead in the first on Contreras' two-run homer and connected with one out in the bottom of the inning. Turner then walked, moved to third on 's single and tried to score when Kiké Hernandez hit a grounder to third baseman , who threw a perfect strike home.
Turner slid into Contreras, and the two exchanged a few words after Turner was called out. Cubs second baseman ran between the two to keep peace. Turner appeared to take exception with either how hard he was tagged or how Contreras was positioned as he received the ball from Bote. Play continued without disruption as Turner walked back to the Dodgers' dugout after getting some last words in.
The next batter, , hit a two-run double to give the Dodgers a 3-2 lead.
