Yoshinobu, meet Yoshi. Yoshi, meet Yoshinobu.
The Dodgers’ ace will enter the Mario Universe when he teams up with the popular dinosaur from Nintendo’s Super Mario franchise for this one-of-a-kind bobblehead giveaway later this month. The first 40,000 fans at L.A.’s game against the Guardians on Tuesday, March 31 will receive this Yoshinobu Yamamoto Yoshi-infused bobblehead.
The bobblehead is a collaboration with "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie", which will be released in theaters in the U.S. on April 1.
The bobblehead features Yoshi donning a white home Yamamoto jersey and a classic blue Dodgers cap. Yamamoto’s No. 18 jersey number is painted on the back of Yoshi’s trademarked shell, while the lovable dinosaur is also wearing a blue baseball mitt.
It’s not the only promotional giveaway starring Yamamoto that the Dodgers will give out during the 2026 season. On May 27, fans can receive a special “Game 7 Last Out” bobblehead, commemorating Yamamoto’s legacy-defining performance in Game 7 of the World Series that secured a second consecutive World Series title last October. Then, on Sept. 5, the Dodgers will give out a Yamamoto “Starter Series” bobblehead, rounding out a series of bobbleheads that recognizes the team’s starting rotation.
But this one -- featuring both Yoshi and Yoshinobu -- is sure to be a hit.
