LOS ANGELES – On the final home game of the season tonight, the Los Angeles Dodgers passed the 4 million mark in attendance for the second time in franchise history and set a new franchise attendance record.
The Dodgers wrapped up the 2026 regular season with a total attendance figure of 4,034,219 at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium, with an average of 49,805 fans per game. The previous high for attendance in a year was set last season with 4,012,470, when L.A. surpassed 4 million for the first time in franchise history.
This year, the Dodgers have announced 40 crowds of 50,000 or better, including 14 sellouts, and have registered at least 40,000 for 215 consecutive games and counting, another franchise record.
Since the first time it happened in 1978, the Dodgers have surpassed 3 million in annual attendance 38 times, including every season not affected by the pandemic since 2012 – as well as every other season but one since 2001. This year, the Dodgers reached 2 million fans in their 40th home game and 3 million in their 60th home game, the same marks as 2025.
With three games to play, the Dodgers also lead Major League Baseball in road attendance with 2,820,413, averaging 36,159 at opposing ballparks in 2026.
MLB’s franchise record for annual home attendance of 4,483,350 was set by the Colorado Rockies during their inaugural season in 1993, when they played at Mile High Stadium in Denver. The Dodgers are the first team to draw over 4 million in back-to-back seasons since the Yankees did so in four consecutive seasons from 2005-2008.
The Los Angeles Dodgers franchise, with nine World Series championships and 26 National League pennants since its beginnings in Brooklyn in 1890, is committed to a tradition of pride and excellence. The Dodgers, baseball’s 2024 and 2025 back-to-back World Champions, are the reigning Sports Business Journal Sports Team of the Year, have been recognized as ESPN’s Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year and are dedicated to supporting a culture of winning baseball, providing a first-class, fan-friendly experience, and building a strong partnership with the community. With the highest cumulative fan attendance in Major League Baseball history and a record of breaking barriers, the Dodgers are one of the most cherished sports franchises in the world.
